he KHORAH BASRA MALL is the most important Commercial building for the entire Province of the Governorate of Basra, the second City, by importance and by the number of inhabitants of Iraq. The architecture is characterized by two large truncated tapered steel and glass towers, located laterally to a semicircular body, always with a steel structure, which is externally covered with screens showing the “live” images of sporting events or playground games on the ice. Next to the outdoor Square at the Mall, a large tank with two-step waterfall is carved, with a bottom fountain system “Light and Music.” The large, covered surfaces (sqm 120000) developed on the four floors above ground (vol. 700000) are a large and concentrated commercial offer: from the Hypermarket to dozens of large Shops on different levels, to the hundreds of typical small activities collected in the two Souk interior.
